Verschillende soorten werkplaatsstoelen
Een werkplaats zonder goede stoel is niet compleet. Want uw werkzaamheden comfortabel uit kunnen voeren draagt niet enkel bij aan comfort, maar ook aan de productiviteit en het welzijn van u en uw collega’s. De ene stoel is de andere dan ook niet. In grote lijnen maken we onderscheid tussen de verschillende soorten werkplaatsstoelen:

Tips bij het kiezen van de juiste werkstoel
Volop keuze dus als u voor de werkplaats een stoel gaat kopen. Maar welke is de beste? Onderstaande drie aandachtspunten helpen u om de werkstoel te kopen die bij u past:
- Zithoogte: zorg dat de stoel aanpasbaar is naar uw lichaamslengte. Het is de bedoeling dat u wisselende werkzaamheden in een comfortabele en ergonomische houding uit kunt voeren. Logischerwijs heeft dit invloed op de keuze voor een lage of hoge werkstoel (of hoge bureaustoel).
- Gebruiksduur: breng in kaart hoe lang u zittend werkzaamheden uitvoert. Bijvoorbeeld aan een werkbank of assemblagestation. Hoe langer dit is, hoe belangrijker het ergonomisch comfort van de stoel is. Dit draagt namelijk sterk bij aan het voorkomen van lichamelijke klachten.
- Materiaal: houd rekening met zaken zoals comfort, onderhoudsgemak en dagelijkse duurzaamheid. Kijk hierbij ook naar de werkomgeving en houd rekening met eisen zoals hygiëne, brandbestendigheid of ESD. Laatstgenoemde wordt bijvoorbeeld aangegeven met een pictogram.
